Indulge is a commercial photography series centered around Shirley Temples, created to explore styled product photography through lighting, composition, and color. The project focused on capturing a playful, nostalgic atmosphere while presenting the drink in a polished and visually engaging way.
Role + Tools
Role: Photographer + Creative Director
Tools: Adobe Photoshop, studio lighting, digital photography, photo editing, color correction, and composition styling
Design Direction
The design direction combined bright color palettes, glossy lighting, and playful styling to create visuals that felt both commercial and nostalgic. I wanted the images to feel energetic and polished while emphasizing the drink as the central focus. The use of props, reflections, and vibrant reds helped create a cohesive visual identity throughout the series.
Process
The process involved planning lighting setups, arranging props, styling compositions, and photographing multiple product arrangements in a studio environment. I experimented with different camera angles, highlights, reflections, and color treatments to create a consistent commercial look across the images. Post-production editing was used to refine lighting, enhance color, and strengthen the final presentation.
